Ingredients

1 capsule contains: extracts of chamomile flowers, yarrow herb, fennel seeds, peppermint leaves, shepherd's purse herb, buckthorn bark, tansy flower, fenugreek seeds.

Properties of Elmitan-A

Chamomile flower extract has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, analgesic and spasmolytic effects on the gastrointestinal tract. It stimulates bile secretion and secretory activity of the digestive glands, normalizes metabolism and improves blood circulation in the skin.

Yarrow herb extract enhances bile secretion, stimulates liver function and appetite, improves digestion and accelerates absorption of substances. It is used as a hemostatic agent in case of diarrhea, dysentery, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, thrombosis and any bleeding, and as an anti-inflammatory agent in case of gastritis and enteritis.

Fennel seed extract is used in case of gastrointestinal tract diseases, accompanied by intestinal spasms, flatulence, dyspepsia, intestinal pain.

Peppermint leaf extract has antispasmodic, analgesic, antiseptic and choleretic effects, as well as reflexively dilates coronary vessels. Peppermint essential oil, in addition to menthol, contains such active substances as methyl acetate, cineole, menthone, menthofuran, which help to increase bile secretion, stimulate digestive glands of other localization, have antiemetic, antiseptic, antifermentative, carminative and antispasmodic effects.

Shepherd's purse herb extract has hemostatic, astringent, anti-inflammatory, hypotensive, diuretic and choleretic effects; it enhances contractile activity of uterine smooth muscle, activates gastric motility and accelerates intestinal motility.

The buckthorn bark extract contains tannins, organic acids, essential oil, sugars, alkaloids, has a specific mild laxative effect due to anthraglycosides and chrysophanic acid. It increases peristaltic movements of the large intestine, slows down absorption of fluids and electrolytes by the mucous membrane of the latter.

Tansy flower extract has choleretic, antimicrobial, anthelmintic, anti-inflammatory effects. It is used in case of liver and biliary tract diseases, gastrointestinal diseases.

Fenugreek seed extract contains diosgenin, which acts as estrogen in the body. It has anti-inflammatory properties, stimulates the contraction of uterine muscle tissue, stabilizes blood sugar levels.
